Little Bro is Graduating

Tonight our family went to Cantina, a Mexican food restaurant in town, to celebrate my brother's upcoming graduation from Midway on Saturday. I don't remember much from my days of storming those familiar halls of Midway High. But I do remember plaguing my brother with foolish jokes!

That said, I'm kinda proud of the little guy (not so little now). He's turned into a fantastic man (no thanks to me). He's unprecedentedly smart, has a ridiculous wit, and yeah, I guess kinda cute. LOL

I love you, Bro. EVEN though you are still kinda annoying. LOL

I am a fun-loving, tall, dark, handsome (or so I'm told) young man. I was in a horrible car accident on July 25, 2010, and nothing in my life has been the same since that day. I am what you call a "miracle"! I was not expected to live, but by the grace of God, I did. Then I was not expected to ever wake up. I was in a coma for almost four months, but then again by the grace of God I DID wake up! I have been in the biggest fight of my life ever since that time. I have been in seven medical facilities across the state of Texas...in Waco, Temple, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Galveston and now back to my hometown of Waco. I am 24 years old and fighting to regain my life. The accident left me with a Traumatic Brain Injury. I am unable to TALK, WALK or EAT. I am praying that the grace of God will save me yet again. I can do this!!! With the help of my family, the power of God, and my very own determination, will-power, and strength, I WILL do this!!! There is just no other way. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I have always loved Superman. My family tells me I am their Superman. I intend to live up to the title.
